CCAS student and GW Nashman Center Math Matters Lead Tutor, Jesús Veliz, delivered opening and closing remarks at a White House event celebrating the National Partnership for Student Success for surpassing its goal of recruiting 250,000 tutors, mentors, and student success coaches nationwide. This week, CCAS alum Nasser Diallo, B.A. '18, visited Dr. Jessica McCaughey’s University Writing class at the Mount Vernon campus. Dr. McCaughey’s students are partnering with Clinic+O, the healthcare organization Nasser founded, to research and create multimedia projects on data use, preventative care, and telehealth in West Africa. Fun fact: Nasser was Dr. McCaughey’s student in 2015!
