Transcripts and Diplomas

The Office of the Registrar maintains all academic records and issues official transcripts. It also provides certification of enrollment documents (for loan deferments, Social Security benefits, health insurance, or other services) and verification of degrees earned at GW. Visit the Office of the Registrar website for details.

Special Offers and Discounts

As a GW Columbian College graduate, you have access to hotel, transportation and travel discounts as well as exclusive specials on insurance and banking. Visit the GW Alumni website for details.

Alumni Mentoring Program

Alumni can get involved by volunteering to mentor a current student. As mentors, alumni are in a position to give real-world advice that can be invaluable to students as they enter the working world. Contact us for details.

Alumni Directory

As a GW alum, you have access to alumni email and an online alumni directory. The first step to accessing these services is to have a GW UserID (previously referred to as a NetID). If you have questions about your UserID, or need to create one, please find more info about that process and accessing your alumni email.

Once you have your UserID you can access the Alumni Directory.

GW Magazine and CCAS Magazine

In addition to the GW Magazine sent to all GW alumni, GW Arts & Sciences Magazine is also mailed annually to alumni.

CCAS Updates

Columbian College sends a monthly e-magazine, CCAS Spotlight, to alumni inboxes. The mailing includes alumni-specific news and class notes.

Gelman Library

Alumni may also access GW's main library, the Gelman Library, by obtaining a GWorld Alumni ID card.
