Where We Are

The majority of Columbian College’s classroom, lab and living spaces are located in Washington, D.C., on GW’s Foggy Bottom Campus—walking distance to the White House, the State Department, the Smithsonian Institution, the Pew Research Center and a variety of other government agencies and cultural and research centers.

Students are engaged with the nation’s capital through hundreds of internship and research opportunities that include the National Science Foundation, D.C. Superior Court and National Geographic.

"The scholars and specialists at GW are world-class, and, broadly speaking, the D.C. region offers an incredible number of resources from the Library of Congress to the Wilson Center. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to study here.”
