Panelists in this round-table-style session will provide three perspectives on the benefits of implementing various alternative assessment models in the fall as a strategy to deal with the complexities of teaching during a pandemic. The session will emphasize practical assessment strategies and their affordances for offering students flexibility, choice, and control over their own learning, as well as means to mitigate impacts of social distancing and illness.
