Awards and Recognition

Faye Moskowitz and her Jewish Literature Live class were featured as one of “The Hottest Seats in Class” in Time.

Allena Opper was part of a collaboration that has measured the proton's weak charge. An article was published about the research in Physics World.

Greg Squires received the The Lester F. Ward Distinguished Contribution to Applied and Clinical Sociology Award, presented by the Association of Applied and Clinical Sociology to a person who has made a significant contribution to applied and clinical sociology over a period of ten or more years. 

At the Metro Dance DC 2013 Dance Awards, Helanius J. Wilkins, MFA ’13, received the Outstanding Individual Performance Award, and current MFA candidate Felipe Oyarzun received the Outstanding Youth Performance award.
