Humans rely on a combination of previous knowledge and perceptions about a person’s characteristics when judging others’ personalities, a new study shows.

A new study by an international research team including GW's Gabriela Rosenblau, assistant professor of cognitive neuroscience, introduces a new computational modeling framework that describes how people learn about others and how they rely on previous knowledge during learning.
