Adrienne Davis
Hello! My name is Adrienne Davis, a master’s student in the public policy program within the Trachtenberg School here at the George Washington University. I am also on track to receive a certificate in regulatory policy and practice at graduation. I’m a native of Washington, D.C., and earned my bachelor's degree a few miles north at Towson University.
As cliché as it sounds, I chose GW for the people. From the very first staff member I met at a graduate fair, I have felt embraced, championed, and encouraged. No other school gave me the feeling of community I felt at GW. One of my goals for graduate school was to be more than a student. I wanted to be part of a community, engage with my peers, and connect with my professors. Trachtenberg makes these goals easy to achieve.
Since being on campus, I have participated in the Black Graduate Student Organization (BGSO), served as a student representative for the Inclusive Community Building Committee, and now serve as a Student Ambassador! I hope to share my passion for policy, education, and GW with you all as your ambassador!
