Jamie Cohen-Cole authored the book “The Open Mind: Cold War Politics and the Sciences of Human Nature,” published by University of Chicago Press.

Alexa Huang received an American Council for Learned Society Frederick Burhkardt Residential Fellowship for 2014-2015.

Bonnie Morris book, “Women’s History for Beginners,” was selected for C-SPAN’s Book Club reading for February.

Harris Mylonas published “Interstate Relations, Perceptions, And Power Balance: Explaining China’s Policies toward Ethnic Groups, 1949-1965” in the journal Security Studies. The article was co-authored with alumnus Enze Han (PhD ’10).

Steven V. Roberts received the Pennsylvania Golden Door Award from HIAS, an international Jewish nonprofit that aids refugees.

Clay Warren presented “An American Perspective of the International Impact of N.F.S. Grundtvig’s Educational Ideas on People and Enlightenment,” as part of the Graduate School of Education & Human Development Distinguished Guest series.

Maida Withers participated in a research residency at the Instituto de Matematica e Arte de São Paulo in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to explore the relationship between art and computer science.
