International Graduate Funding Initiative

GW values diversity and the foundation it provides for a rich educational experience both inside and beyond the classroom. In our increasingly global society, multicultural fluency and experience are essential to meeting the demands of the 21st century. When people of different religions, cultures and histories study and learn together, we gain a broader perspective of the world around us.

An international graduate funding initiative is available to qualified students from:

  • Bangladesh
  • Brazil
  • Colombia
  • Ghana
  • India
  • Indonesia

  • Mexico
  • Nigeria
  • Pakistan
  • Turkey
  • Vietnam

Students may receive a tuition award of up to $20,000 per academic year.

To qualify, students must be:

  • citizens of one of the countries eligible for this initiative;
  • studying on an F-1 visa; and
  • be admitted to and enroll in an on-campus master’s program.

The deadline for graduate applications and qualifying for this assistance is February 1, as long as your program application deadline has not passed. For more information, please send an email to askccas@gwu.edu.
