Awards and Recognition

Evgeny Finkel, assistant professor of political science, to receive the American Political Science Association’s Gabriel Almond Award for best dissertation in comparative.

Swiss Consul Carl Lutz, BA ’24, will be portrayed in the upcoming Hollywood film “Walking with the Enemy.” Nominated three times for the Nobel Peace Prize, Lutz launched one of the largest rescue operations during World War II, saving 62,000 Jews from Nazi death camps.

Jason Osder, professor of media and public affairs, received the Best Editing in a Documentary award at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival, and received a special mention for Best New Documentary Director for his debut film “Let the Fire Burn”.
