Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition

We are very excited to host our annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition! Join the CCAS and SEAS community of faculty, graduate students, friends, and family to support our Ph.D. students as they face off in this friendly competition.

Developed by The University of Queensland, 3MT celebrates the research conducted by PhD students and cultivates their academic, presentation, and research communication skills. The competition supports their capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience.

The 2023 3MT competition will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm in the University Student Center Amphitheater, 3rd Floor.

If you will be attending in person, please register in advance. The competition will also be livestreamed on our Facebook page for those who wish to attend virtually.
