Richard Ernsberger is a proud 2002 graduate the George Washington University. He has been involved in the local alumni association. Professionally, Richard started his career as a clerk on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He practices law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in a firm founded by his grandfather. He represents clients in state and federal court in a wide variety of civil cases, including matters relating to federal false claims, employment discrimination, intellectual property (copyright and patent), real estate disputes, and consumer protection. Richard has taught continuing legal education courses on insurance bad faith, federal false claims, and data privacy. He has provided pro bono representation to asylum seekers from Afghanistan and families facing homelessness whose children were removed from school. Richard and his wife, Ginevra, enjoy going to Pittsburgh Pirates games (win or lose) and hiking in the National Parks.
