Most recently, Jamie served as the interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President and Series Seed and Series A investor for PopUp Bagels, Inc., in Westport, CT, where he grew revenues from $5M to $25M annualized revenue in 10 months and prepared the company for a successful exit to Stripes Group at 10x revenue. Before PopUp Bagels, Inc., Jamie served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Series A and Series B investor at Athletic Brewing Co., where his leadership enabled growth from $2M to $130M+ in sales in four years. Jamie successfully guided the company through a timely and successful minority stake exit in its $800M General Atlantic transaction.
Previously, Jamie served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder of a fintech news company startup, Hammerstone Markets, growing the company from a single owner-operator to 10+ full-time staff, maintaining and increasing profitability from day one. The company's platform was available on Bloomberg, Symphony, OpenFin, and Pivot IM. In 2018, he successfully sold the company to Catena Media, a Nasdaq corporation, achieving 10x EBITDA upon exit. Jamie earned completion of the Advanced Management Program from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from George Washington University. He has completed certificates in artificial intelligence (MIT), in valuation (Amsterdam School of Finance), and in leadership and change management (Swiss Business School) as well as AI (Columbia U.) Jamie brings significant board experience, currently serving on the boards of Cape May Brewing, Wild Bill’s Craft Soda, and Bradish Johnson Co., Ltd.
