The long-range impact of the global pandemic on the economy is a topic of enormous concern and is being vigorously debated across the country and around the world. Professor of Economics and International Affairs Tara Sinclair sat down with Paul Wahlbeck, dean of GW's Columbian College of Arts & Sciences, to discuss her economic forecast for the future based on the data she is collecting and analyzing.
Sinclair is the co-director of GW's H.O. Stekler Research Program on Forecasting and is a member of the Bureau of Labor Statistics Technical Advisory Committee. She also serves as a senior fellow with the Indeed Hiring Lab, which produces research on global labor market topics using Indeed’s proprietary data and publicly available sources.
