My name is Marisabel Rey and I am a first-year MPA student at the Trachtenberg School. Born and raised in Peru, I received my BA in Studio Arts and Literature from Hamilton College in 2019. I moved to DC shortly after and worked at the National Portrait Gallery for a year before joining the George Washington University as a full-time student. I enjoy all things outdoors, particularly running (I have an ongoing running streak!), and am passionate about international development and education.
"Coming from a Liberal Arts background, I wanted to acquire specialized skills. GW is allowing me to become a more well-rounded professional by providing me with the opportunity to learn quantitative and technical skills."
