Cisneros Hispanic Leadership Institute

Cisneros Students

The GW Cisneros Hispanic Leadership Institute helps qualified students attain academic success, build leadership skills, and engage in a long-term commitment to making a difference within the Hispanic community. The institute encompasses a pre-college summer program, college scholarship/mentorship support, a post-doctoral fellowship, and public and academic programming. Established in 2015 by Gilbert Cisneros, BA ’94, and his wife, Jacki, the institute seeks to help deserving students gain the skills and confidence needed to apply to, attend, and graduate from a selective university—building the next generation of diverse leaders.
