About the GW Bouchet Society Chapter

The George Washington University Bouchet Society Chapter was founded in 2011 under the direction of former Associate Dean for Graduate Studies, Tara Wallace, in the Columbian College of Arts & Sciences. 

Founding Chapters

Yale University and Howard University are the founding chapters of the Edward Alexander Bouchet Graduate Honor Society. One national charter with two chapters was inaugurated on September 15, 2005, in commemoration of Bouchet’s birthday.
