November 2011
What are you most thankful for? In the spirit of the season, we posed that question to a group of Columbian College students as they prepare to either go home for the Thanksgiving break or hunker down on campus to prepare for the final push toward exams. As to be expected, most responses included a nod to family, friends, and a merciful faculty member, but there were a few surprises (Justin Beiber’s new album?) along the way!

“I am thankful to have the strength to be independent as I see some of my fellow classmates struggling. I am thankful for my positive experiences and my ability to learn from those that seem so bad at the time. I am thankful for my ambition and my drive to be what I want no matter what. Most of all, I really am thankful for my family and friends, old and new, that create such a positive support system for me and a perfect environment for me to be as happy as I am.”
