The first master's program in women's studies in the United States, our program examines the historical and contemporary role and status of women in order to prepare professionals to formulate and evaluate public policy for women or to pursue advanced study in a liberal arts discipline.

The master's degree can be earned in the field of women's studies or in the field of public policy with a concentration in women's studies. A joint program with the Law School is also offered.
