Additional Application Requirements:
GRE subject test in Physics recommended.

The Department has research concentrations in nuclear physics and condensed-matter physics, as well as interdisciplinary studies available in materials science, astrophysics, and biophysics are also possible.

The Department emphasizes close interaction between faculty and students during all phases of their studies.
