The Department of Counseling and Human and Organizational Studies is a division of the Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD).

Degree(s) Offered: PhD

Admission Semesters: Fall only.

Additional Application Requirements: A master's degree is required. Interview requested when possible.

The doctoral program in counseling is an individualized program of advanced graduate studies designed to prepare highly knowledgeable and skilled professional leaders and researchers for the counseling profession. The PhD program in Counseling is offered by Columbian College in collaboration with the Graduate School of Education and Human Development.

GSEHD also offers certificate, master's, and educational specialist degrees in Counseling. Application for these programs should be made through GSEHD.
