The anthropology program prepares students for further study at the doctoral level or for careers in museums, cultural and historic preservation, and international development. Students acquire knowledge and skills in the four basic subdivisions: sociocultural, biological, archaeological, and linguistic anthropology. The Master of Arts can be earned in the general field of anthropology or with concentrations in folklife, museum training, or international development.
